Warm Greetings to you from India in the Almighty Name of Jesus.
We are quite happy to meet you today again after 3 years, on behalf of our Church for the Distant Ministry, seek your benevolent prayer support to our Minister and ministries.
Today, God inspires me to write this and to inform you this persecution and continue our fellowship too.Hindu Radicals known as RSS activists attacked last Saturday Evng. Shyam Kumar alleging forced conversion on 5th July 2008 at Baswapur village,Andhra Pradesh, India..Evangelist Shyam Kumar (22) had just completed his Bible education and returned home in the month of February and joined with us. He is the son of our Pastor N David who is our CFD Minister, was also persecuted one-year back. Evng. Shyam Kumar had a vision to share the Good news among the beggars and the poor people. God accordingly guided him to Nalakonda in Hyderabad to do ministry. He began his ministry a month back.
Last week, on 5th July around 1 'o' clock Evng. Shyam Kumar was walking near the bus stop and found a group of beggars. By seeing them, he moved toward them, gave bible tracts and started to share the word of God to them. Four people belonging to RSS were observing what was going from far away. The radicals came toward him and abused him of forceful conversion. They caught Evng. Shyam Kumar started to beat him and fisted him on various parts of the body after and left the scene. He fell unconscious for some time. Shyam Kumar's friend who was returning from college noticed him lying unconscious and immediately took him to the nearby clinic. I received a call from his friend by seeing our Ministry Card, he made call. I attended him the next few hours. He is in hospital and getting treatment by His grace. Amen. We need your blessings and fellowship to win India for HIM alone.
Pl.do come and equip us and our Pastors who are serving in Rural India. Pl.pray and extend your gracious hand to meet the Hospital bills and other expenses at your earliest convenient time to help, strengthen this young man in the Lord.
