"Cassandra Momplaisir,was born in the Caribbean nation of Haiti in June 1973. A “preacher’s kid”, Cassandra was discovered at an early age by her mother who became her first vocal coach.

Cassandra traveled with several gospel artists and groups witch helped her launch her recording career. In the late 90’s she became the lead vocal for the MAX BENOIT AND HIS GROUP LUMIERE, their number one hit “L’important dans la vie” (What’s important in life) stayed on top of the chart for more then a year. The success of her first recording persuaded a disk jockey of a NY radio station to give her the Title of “ PRINCESS”.

In 2006 the princess records her first solo album” PI PREW “ (closer to you) with a variety of musical flavors, French zook, Caribbean Compas and RNB. Pi PREW is having a great success in the French Islands, Florida and New York. In 2007 Ms Momplaisir was name the best female gospel artist in Philadelphia, PA. Cassandra is fluent in three languages and her singing repertoire consists of Gospel, RNB and French classic."
