Tomemos doce meses completos, límpielos prolijamente de toda amargura, odio y celo, póngalos tan fresco y limpios como sea posible.
Ahora corte cada mes en veintiocho, treinta o treinta y un partes diferentes, pero no junte todos los pedazos al mismo tiempo. Prepárelo un día a la vez a partir de estos ingredientes.
Mezcle bien en cada día una parte de fe, una parte de paciencia, una parte de valor y una parte de trabajo.
Agregue a cada día una parte de esperanza, fidelidad, generosidad y bondad. Combine con una parte de oración, una parte de meditación y una de buenas obras. Sazone el todo con una dosis de buen ánimo, un rocío de diversión, una pizca de juego, y una taza de buen humor.
Vierta todo esto en un recipiente de amor. Cueza a fuego lento sobre gozo radiante, aderece con una sonrisa y sirva con quietud, desprendimiento y alegría.
Está en camino a tener un feliz año nuevo.
Hasta que el Señor les dé reposo, como lo ha hecho con ustedes, y hasta que ellos tomen posesión de la tierra que el Señor su Dios les da. Sólo entonces podrán ustedes retornar a sus tierras y ocuparlas. Son las tierras que Moisés, siervo del Señor, les dio al este del Jordán.
Ellos le respondieron a Josué:
Nosotros obedeceremos todo lo que nos has mandado, e iremos adondequiera que nos envíes.
Te obedeceremos en todo, tal como lo hicimos con Moisés. Lo único que pedimos es que el Señor esté contigo como estuvo con Moisés. Josue 1:15-17
Take a full twelve months, meticulously clean of all bitterness, hatred and jealousy, put them as fresh and clean as possible.

Until the Lord give rest, as it has done for you, and until they take possession of the land the Lord your God gives you. Only then can you return to their lands and occupy them. These are lands which Moses the servant of the Lord, He gave the east of Jordan.
They said to Joshua:
We will obey whatever you command us, and we'll go wherever you send us.
I obey in everything, just like we did with Moses. All we ask is that the Lord be with you as He was with Moses. Joshua 1:15-17
